Kralendijk- Recently, the Education and Labor Market Council of the Caribbean Netherlands paid a working visit to various authorities in the European Netherlands. The visit is part of the strategic plan of ROA CN.

Visits to Statistics Netherlands (CBS), the SBB, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) and to the vocational educational institution of ROC TOP in Amsterdam were on the schedule. In addition, new civil servants of OCW were introduced to the delegation of ROA CN.

The purpose of the visits; to further strengthen ties with the organization’s involved. Special attention was paid to the importance of information exchange, good cooperation and knowledge sharing on all three islands within the Caribbean Netherlands between local and European partners of the government. This will allow the ROA CN to collect more relevant data and information in order to attain to advisory duties to OCW, as regulated by law.
