Oranjestad- St. Eustatius National Parks (STENAPA) reminds users of the parks on the island that it is not allowed to make bonfires in the parks on the island.
STENAPA says that it is too dangerous to light fires, especially in the dry seasons. STENAPA points to the fact that the fire brigade will not be able to respond to fires in these areas, which are difficult to reach and where there is no access to water.
STENAPA also calls on all users to be responsible when using the parks, in order to avoid damage to nature and the parks.
