**Sunwing nonstop flights from Toronto, Canada to Bonaire starting this December 17^th, 2017**

Kralendijk (August 14th, 2017) Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) together with a Bonaire delegation and Sunwing organized a productive sales blitz week in Toronto, Canada. More than 200 sales and travel agents received a presentation and promotional material. Bonaire is preparing its promotional activities for the weekly nonstop flight from Sunwing starting this December 17^th, 2017.

TCB together with representatives of Divi Flamingo Resort, Eden Beach Resort, Buddy Dive Resort, Delfins Resort and Plaza Beach Resort & Casino gave presentations to sales agents and staff at Sunwing offices over Bonaire as a Tourism Destination and the properties listed on the Sunwing program. The delegation also visited different Sunwing key travel agents in the Ontario area.

The interest during these presentations were very high. Travel agents stated that regularly their clients ask about new destinations, thus they were very excited to be now be able to present Bonaire as a new destination to their clients; right place right timing we call this!

TCB created a landing page especially for easy online access for the travel agents of the Canadian market called www.tourismbonaire.com/Canada. Here they will get general information about the island, online version of the brochure that was handed out to them and video links of the different properties.

The coming months marketing activities will initiate promoting the Sunwing flight within the Canadian market, different strategies will be used which include; Online banners, digital boards in Toronto, radio spots, Social media advertisement, Sunwings vacations travel magazine and inflight magazine and much more. “We look forward to a very successful season and partnership with Sunwing. Reintroducing Bonaire within the Canadian market with an extensive marketing and media plan; we expect high demand for a new sunny destination within the Canadian market. Our projections show that we can expect positive load factors.
