Successful Walk for Cure Against Cancer in St. Eustatius

Oranjestad- The Golden Rock Cancer Awareness foundation organized a ‘Walk for a Cure’ on Tuesday October 30th. Many turned out to participate in the event and thus support the noble cause for the battle against cancer.
The Walk ended at the Boardwalk in Lower Town, where food was available for purchase. The uplifting music for the occasion was provided by the Mega D. Youth Foundation. Various persons gave their testimony as survivors and encounter with friends and family fighting cancer.
Seen on the photo are the participants to the Walk in a joint prayer.
On November 3rd there will the the breast cancer gala organized by Blue Island Gem Events at the Mike Van Putten Youth Center.
