Tropical storm Don heading towards our Islands

Wednesday possibly more wind and showers, Tropical Storm Don is located this morning about 1300 km east of Bonaire and moves west at 30 KM/H

Today is partly cloudy, with risk of a rain shower. Highs around 32°C, lows around 27°C. The easterly wind is moderate to fresh, 4-5 Bft.

Wednesday the risk of showers will strongly increase during the day. Also the wind will become fresh to strong 5-6 Bft. There is a risk (30%) that tropical storm Don will pass closely to Bonaire around Wednesday noon. In that case the wind will temporarily further increase to gale force, 8 Bft and might shortly come from the West as well. See also ’tropical storm watch’.
