US Coast Guard Provides ISPS Training for Bonaire Harbour

Kralendijk – Last week, the US Coastguard provided a workshop on International Ship and Port Facility (ISPS).
The Habour Office, Police Force, KMAR, Fire Brigade and the the Directorate of Supervision & Enforcement were some of the organizations who attended the workshop.
Harbour Office of the other islands within the Kingdom were also invited to this workshop. Aruba, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and Saba all formed part of the training provided.
The training focussed, among others, on safety-conscious work, best practices, exercises, cyber security and new threats & dangers.
The workshop was concluded with a visit to the cruise port during a visit from a cruise ship.
