Kralendijk- Joanne Balentien-Nicastia has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at WEB N.V.as per January 1, 2017. Together with Alfredo Koolman (CEO) she will now form the Board of Directors of the power and water company of Bonaire (Water & Energiebedrijf Bonaire, WEB). The appointment, according to WEB, is the result of a recruitment and selection trajectory that started in June of last year.
Joanne Balentien-Nicastia has over 15 years experience in strategic analysis and implementation, and in risk analysis and project financing. Before her appointment as CFO, she was director and owner of DCConsultancy that provides corporate financial services. Until June 1, 2015 she was Senior Director Transactions at the National Investment Bank (NIBanc) in Curacao. In the seven years Joanne held this position she has been involved in several large (project) financings, including for utility companies on Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire en St. Maarten.
