Kralendijk- A first group of EZ Air pilots recently wrapped up their certification process for the Beechcraft 1900D, which were recently acquired by the carrier, aiming to expand their operations with regular flights out of the ABC-islands.

The 3 first pilots to finalize the training are Franklin Antoin, Järl Henriquez and Lorenzo Silié. A second group has in the meantime also left for the training.

“By the end of this month we will have two full flight crews trained, while we expect to send two additional crews in the month of October”, explained EZ Air Chief Pilot Antoin.

Although the airline can still not provide a concrete date for the start of the expanded operations, Antoin said he expected that the first of the two newly acquired planes could be flown to Curaçao as early as next week.
