Oranjestad, St. Eustatius, The Bottom, Saba – On March 11, the St. Eustatius Tourism Development Foundation (STDF) invited RVO and Green Destinations to their radio show to inform their audience on the Virus-Aware Seal. This certification would be granted to businesses that have sufficient measures in place against virus transmission. During the radio show the STDF announced the possibility to finance local businesses to start this certification process on a first come first serve basis. Local businesses that are interested in obtaining these certifications can contact the STDF.
Local business on Saba can also apply for a virus aware seal via the tourist bureau. The businesses that obtained the Virus-Aware Seal can be found on the Virus-Aware website. Many businesses on Sint Eustatius and Saba are in the reporting process of the Virus-Aware Seal and will receive the certification when they successfully complete the reporting process. Keep an eye on the website to find out which businesses received the Virus-Aware Seal. Interested parties can mail to: email@example.com
