The 2019 Sint Maarten Innovations, Initiatives & Industries Link-up Event, which was founded in 2018, is scheduled for October 25th and 26th, which was announced by The Sint Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA), today.

The SMILE event aims to highlight innovative and sustainable companies and projects and to facilitate business to business networking on island. The event enjoys committed support from: 360 Innovation (Aruba), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (COCI), ORCO Bank, Global Resourcing and University of St Martin (USM). For this edition, content will be organized around the four main themes of innovation, marketing-funding, sustainability and human resource management for which workshops are already confirmed for: social media, website and search. engine optimization, recycling, health in the workplace and energy savings.

The event will kick off with an opening ceremony at University Sint Maarten, which will be transformed especially for this one of a kind event. Day two will see a tradeshow floor for exhibiting products and services as well as opportunities to schedule appointments, networking or follow some of the 25 masterclasses on offer.
