The Bottom, Saba- The Saba Island Government, Public Works and teams of volunteers from each village are decking out the island in holiday cheer.
The Christmas season in Saba kicked off right after the Saba Day weekend, December 1,2 and 3rd with the Lighting of the Government Christmas tree in the capital village of The Bottom on December 9th. After that the Lighting of the Lions Christmas Tree and Christmas Caroling in addition to a Thanksgiving Night with live Gospel Music by Evangelist Bridget Blucher sponsored by the Island Government took place on December 10th.
Coming weekend Santa will arrive as the Saba Lions Club host their annual toy drive.
The decorations put up in various locations have made the island look quite festive, much to the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike.
