Theory and practice
The theoretical classes focused on the organization of emergency services, the provision of first aid and moving injured persons. The theoretical part was concluded with a written test.
In practice, the participants exercised CPR according to the Dutch Resuscitation Council, transport of injured people and life-saving operations (first aid). There was a special practice exercise tuned to the working situation at WEB. Also the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) has been practiced.

This course, which leads to full ER certification, includes preventing and extinguishing fires, evacuations in emergency situations, rescue operations and maintaining communication with emergency services and institutions.
