Oranjestad- Brighter Path Foundation (BPF) in collaboration with other partners will be holding a so called Town Hall meeting about the current situation in St. Eustatius. BPF also wants to speak with Statians about their hope for the future.

The session will be held at the William and Christine Flanders Community Center this Saturday, March 10, starting at 6:45 pm. The public is urged to attend the session. According to BPF, the goal of the meeting will be to share knowledge about recent developments in Statia and to create possibilities for the future.

“During the town hall meeting opportunities will be created for all participants to speak about the things that concern them, while at the same time collectively defining our vision for the future,” organizers noted.

According to the organizers, the meeting has the intention to be non-political. In this way an atmosphere will be created in which all opinions are respected as long as a high level of respect is maintained”, according to a spokesperson for the Foundation.

BPF says they hope many people attend, including young professionals on the island. According to BPF, all voices matter when it comes to the further development of the place Statians call home.
